History of Roulette

Roulette was first devised in 17th century France, by the mathematician Blaise Pascal. In 1842, fellow Frenchmen Francois and Louis Blanc added the "0" to the roulette wheel in order to increase house odds. Soon after roulette made its way to the US where they added the 00.

Supposedly, Roulette is the Devil's Game since when you add up all the numbers on the roulette wheel the total number comes to 666, commonly known as the devil's number.

Different Versions of the game

The difference stems from the American wheel having a 00 which in turns changes the odds of the game. Other than that the game is identical.

Online Roulette

Online Roulette is the same as regular roulette found in the casino except there are no loud annoying patrons or the poor humor of a dealer to bother you. Online roulette allows you to play in the peace and quiet of your own computer.
